Elisabeth Shue has girl-next-door beauty with a drop-dead body under that puffy sweater. She’s all grown up now and is looking to shake it. In Adventures in Babysitting she was the baby-sitter trapped in the big bad city with a bunch of troublemaking kids. In Cocktail opposite Tom Cruise, she played the sweet rich girl being wooed by the blue-collar bartender against her daddy’s will. Then Elisabeth took a flyer on her most far-reaching role of her career. She decided it was time to grow up or forever be typecast as the cheerleader. In 1995’s Leaving Las Vegas she shattered her previous image portraying a street walking hooker. In one scene where she is going down on co-star Nicholas Cage she asks, “What’s the matter? Are you too drunk to cum?” With those lines coming from her luscious lips suddenly she was a certifiable bad girl. Elisabeth was nominated for an Oscar for the role and it has made her one of Hollywood’s most sought after actresses.
